About this dataset
This dataset is based on the analysis of near-infrared (NIR) and shortwave infrared (SWIR) images acquired by the OLI sensor (onboard the Landsat 8-9 satellites), with 30 m resolution ((resampled to 20 m) and a revisit time of about 8 days. Measurements are provided in the number of “hot” pixels that represents a proxy for the size of the thermal anomaly. Images are available with a latency of about 6-24 hours from acquisition.
