About this dataset
This dataset is based on the analysis of near-infrared (NIR) and shortwave infrared (SWIR) images acquired by the MSI sensor (onboard the Sentinel 2 satellites), with 20 m resolution and a revisit time of about 5 days. Measurements are provided in the number of “hot” pixels that represents a proxy for the size of the thermal anomaly. Images are available with a latency of about 6-24 hours from acquisition.
